Here’s How to Set It Up

Here's how to build an adaptive bidding system that actually differentiates:

1. From your Scale Insights account, navigate to Automation.

2. Select Bidding rule, then the Bidding rules tab.

3. In the search bar, type ‘conversion’ and sort by Priority.

4. You'll see 4 preset rules we built to handle different performance patterns:

  • Bad conversions (7 days): Cuts losers fast for high-traffic keywords (20% ACOS target)

  • Good conversions (7 days): Feeds winners hard for high-traffic keywords (40% ACOS target)

  • Bad conversions (30 days): Patient evaluation for low-traffic keywords (20% ACOS target)

  • Good conversions (30 days): Scales proven winners in low-traffic keywords (40% ACOS target)

Notice how the rules are prioritized?

7-day rules run at Priority 15 (react fast), while 30-day rules run at Priority 10 (react slower).

When multiple rules trigger, only the highest priority executes—so your system automatically picks the right rule for each keyword.

5. Now navigate to Automation > Keyword targeting in the left sidebar.

6. Click Create objective.

7. Under Bidding rules, click the + icon.

8. Search "conversion" to filter for the 4 preset rules.

9. Select all 4 rules and click OK.

10. Name it something like “Good Converting 40% | Bad Converting 20% | 7D and 30D”.

11. Click Create strategy.

12. Select the ad(s) you want to optimize and click Assign.

✅ Done.

Your ads now automatically feed winners at the right time, cut losers before they bleed you dry, adjust based on traffic volume (not arbitrary thresholds), and react at the right speed—fast for high-traffic, patient for low-traffic.
